Beautiful and rare 17th-century wedding cassone model from the Tuscan-Roman area, usable as a coffer, entirely in dark walnut with typically central Italian characteristics, both in the double-panel moldings and in the rounded "loaf" shapes of the base. Its original top has a coffer-shaped design, which recalls fully 16th-century reminiscences.
Thanks to this information, it is possible to date the object to the early 17th century, probably made by the carpenter craftsman as a model for a wedding cassone or as a jewelry box.
Its measurements are: 83 x 31 x 37 cm.
We attach a certificate of authenticity to the sale.
The furniture is in perfect condition and does not require any restoration.
