Splendid five-drawer walnut chest of drawers, finely carved with guilloché on ebonized wood. The pilaster strips framing an elegant conical twist that falls to a point are very interesting. Moldings in various orders of carving follow the pyramidal base, and on the sides, three frames feature the same guilloché carvings present on all the large drawers. The furniture is in good state of preservation and original in every part. Interesting and original bronze locks. Cleaning and wax polishing service are included in the sale.
