The Barovier & Toso Nuptial Cup
Murano glass has a beautiful history. The first cup was made between 1470 and 1480.
Housed in the Murano Glass Museum, it was made as a wedding gift for the two figures depicted in the medallions.
A dark blue glass cup that appears blue, with polychrome vitreous enamel decorations and friezes.
It is still reproduced in the same furnace today.
This Barovier & Toso cup for sale was made in 1940.
