Four Carved and Gilded Wooden Finials 1800

Four 1800 Carved and Gilded Wooden Terminals supported on a hexagonal base with plant-carved "pastiglia" frames. A set of four lime wood vases, turned and fully carved with original fine gold leaf gilding on a red bole preparation. Originally, these four gilded finials decorated the terminal part of a canopy or balustrades, but they are decorative elements that lend themselves well as bases for the creation of exclusive table, study or bedside lamps. This set of four antique gilded vases comes from northern Italy and is in good condition. Period: 1800 Height: 27.5 cm Diameter: 10.5 cm
