Antique mahogany 8-bottle carrier from the Victorian period, with initials, key, and lock

Description: Antique English bottle carrier (42x23 cm; h.36) with initials painted in gold (photo no. 5), suitable for transporting and storing fine wines: it's the perfect way to give precious bottles as a gift, but also an excellent solution for storing bottles at home, keeping them protected from light. The antique travel box can hold eight bottles of wine: made of solid mahogany with handles, the lock, and the original key (photo no. 4), in the late Victorian period. The upper shelf measures 42 cm and is 15 cm deep (photo no. 1). This elegant box, having been recently restored, is in excellent condition: inside, we find the original tag (photo no. 6) with the following inscription: Manufactured by G. Sage & Co. Ltd. for J. Carmona.
