Description: Splendid French fan dating back to the 19th century, preserved and framed in a fan display case. The fan is made of hazelnut-colored silk fabric with openwork wooden ribs painted in gold. The fabric is hand-painted with a scene depicting a noblewoman in a classic court dress and embellished with lace applications. The fan was subsequently framed and protected in a fan display case with a gilded wooden structure with a dark background. The fan display case is in good condition, the fan shows signs of aging and minor repairs and tears as shown in the photos.
