Stappers Julien (1875-1960) is a Belgian painter who mainly painted flowers and still lifes with remarkable results.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and then exhibited his works in Brussels.
It should be noted that the oil painting has a carved and lacquered wooden frame contemporary to the painting.
The oil painting and the frame have been carefully and professionally restored.
