This splendid shaped secretaire-trumeau with a 18th century Baroque Louis XV style elevation is made in two parts, the base with 3 drawers and a serpentine drop-front desk, with the support of a 2-door glass display case elevation. The sides and the front part are shaped like a "crossbow", an architectural structure of cabinet making in vogue from the early 1700s. The interiors of the upper part conceal a finely crafted "castle" with small drawers, and shaped storage compartments, echoing the external shapes of the trumeau.
