Description:
(STTE97) The antique sculptures category proposes a Terracotta Sculpture, which represents a Nude of a Young Woman Lying Down, made in the early twentieth century. Period: 1920s/1930s of the twentieth century. Art Deco. The Female Nude work, which expresses sweetness and sensuality, is signed A. Gennarelli on the base, an Italian sculptor. Amedeo Gennarelli (1881-1943) Italian sculptor, born in Naples, but active in Paris where he moved in 1909. He was a pupil of Francesco Jerace, an Italian painter and sculptor from Naples. Known for his beautiful female nudes, which he creates using different materials: Marble, Terracotta, Bronze. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1913 until his death.
