Ferrara walnut console chest of drawers, 18th century
Description:
Rare Italian console chest of drawers from the 18th century, originating from the Ferrara area.
A piece of furniture with a strong personality, with an internal fir structure and walnut burl veneer with a marked and warm grain.
The legs, hand-carved, have the characteristic "ham" shape, typical of the Ferrara tradition, with a slender and elegant profile. The important thickness of the veneer and the presence of hand-forged nails confirm the high craftsmanship of the work.
The furniture retains a beautiful original patina and is in excellent condition. It measures 123 cm in width, 62 cm in depth and 84 cm in height.
A unique, rare and decorative piece, suitable for both historical environments and more contemporary contexts.
