The piece features a well-proportioned architectural structure, with a shaped and contoured top, an upper drawer, and a lower door framed and enriched by a shaped panel in the center.
The front is punctuated by two carved half-columns with Ionic capitals, which lend vertical rhythm and refinement to the ensemble. The projecting platform is shaped with great taste and lifts up to reveal an internal storage compartment, typical of prie-dieus for private and devotional use.
