Description: French Louis XV tombeau chest of drawers in precious exotic wood with France red marble top. The undertop band features two large drawers that can be pulled out using finely chiseled gilded bronze handles. The second and third drawers are single units and can also be pulled out using handles. The two corners are embellished with bronze elements depicting female busts and finished with cabriole sabots. Laterally, it features a curvilinear movement embellished by the herringbone wood assembly. The base is of a mixtilinear type and is adorned with a central gilded bronze medallion. The drawer bottoms are all made of solid walnut and have the original locks from the period. General conditions: Good condition. Origin: France, 18th century. Measurements: 130X64 H83cm.
