The antique Still Life with Fruit painting proposed here is a Beautiful oil painting on canvas from the 19th century and is presented with a gilded frame in pure gold leaf from the 19th century. XIX century.
It is a pleasant still life with an antique ceramic plate with Fruit, Nuts, Raisins, cheese and on the side a glass of black wine, a teapot and everything is resting on a white tablecloth.

Jean-Louis Georges (1831-1893) was a pupil of Danguin and Guichard at the "Des Beaux-Arts" school in Lyon where he studied from 1860. He began exhibiting his still life paintings at the "Salon di Lyon" from 1865.
The antique gilded frame and the antique oil painting are professionally restored.
