Set of 6 "Gondola" chairs – Charles X, Veneto, circa 1830

Elegant set of six solid walnut chairs, made in Veneto around 1830, during the Charles X era. The chairs, also known as the "Gondola" model for the characteristic shape of the wraparound backrest, feature a refined central carving with foliage motifs and neoclassical-style curls. The curved and shaped backrest harmoniously connects with the saber front legs, giving the profile a lively and balanced line. The seats are upholstered in sand-colored striped fabric, in good condition. Dimensions: Height: 85 cm Width: 48 cm Depth: 47 cm Condition: good overall condition.
