Rare chest/strongbox made in the 18th century.
Of Piedmontese origin, it is made of walnut with wrought iron reinforcing bands.
The main lock is in perfect working order,
internally there are side compartments, one of which has a lock and key, both original and functioning.
It is in excellent condition, it needs restoration for conservation purposes.
