This fine pair of mirrors was made in Venice in the second half of the 18th century.
The gilded wooden frame is richly carved with rocaille decorations, with volutes and phytomorphic elements. Very particular is the way the decorations do not correspond to a symmetry between the sides, thus enlivening the decoration which culminates at the top with a small openwork crest.
This type of decoration makes the pair very decorative, suitable for any environment, modern or antique, in which they will bring warmth and luminosity thanks to the gold leaf finish.
