Interesting Viennese chest of drawers from the Biedermeier period, veneered in flowering ash with rich and decorative grain, with elegant amaranth threads and decorative ring motifs. In original patina, of practical integrity with shellac finish applied with museum standard technique on the original first patina. Vienna 1820-30. Possibly circle of Joseph Danhauser. Cm.126 x depth 68 x height 107 Also excellent for combining with high-end modern for a unique, exclusive and refined elegance. From the warm golden amber color of the antique patina of flowering ash with a real shellac finish.
