Finely veneered in precious mahogany feather with horizontal grain, typical of the high Viennese cabinet making of the classicism period. Elegant gilded leaf-shaped moldings with original gilding decorate the upper part, also a stylistic element typical of the Empire period and in particular of Viennese cabinet making of the period. Moved on the front in a "bombé" style. With practical doors in the lower part alternating with the classic drawers in the upper part. Internal and external hardware also original with delicate Empire-style motifs of palmettes, acanthus and vases. Original locks all in working order. Consolidated and with shellac finish applied with a pad using a museum standard technique on intact original patina. Measurements cm. height cm. 143, max. depth 51, max. width 79, body 75.
