Rare and unusual model of a walnut dresser with two-tone effect in alternation, ebony and walnut. The drawers, the slippers and the pilaster strips are carved, but the particularity is its finely executed sides which show a same topographic city vision carved in intaglio. Another peculiarity is the different heights and sizes of the drawers, which probably refer to the intended use of the piece of furniture, which unfortunately is not known. It is a model furniture made during the course of the seventeenth century in the Tuscan or Umbrian-Marche area. Its dimensions are: 49 cm long X 49 cm high x 29 cm deep.
