Antique terracotta jar-amphora for oil, glazed pot.
Description:
Description:
Interesting terracotta vase of Italian origin, dating back to the 1950s-1960s, originally used for the preservation of olive oil.
The object is distinguished by its pot-bellied shape with double vertical handles and the dark green glaze that covers the upper part, in stark contrast to the body left in its natural state, rich in the patina of time.
The vase has signs of use and chips on the handles that testify to the authenticity of the peasant manufacture of central-southern Italy.
Ideal as a decorative piece in rustic, country chic environments, or for collectors of traditional agricultural objects.
