Description: A pair of French chairs dating back to the first half of the 20th century, made of beech wood painted walnut. The design of these chairs is characterized by a rounded back, veneered in thuja briar. The thuja briar, with its unique veins and its rich coloring, adds a touch of luxury and refinement. Initially the chairs had a Vienna straw interior but over the years they have been updated with new padding, covered with a fine silk velvet. This modification has not only improved the comfort of the chairs, but has also added a further layer of elegance. Restored in the last twenty years, the chairs have maintained their original charm while presenting obvious signs of wear on the fabric of one of them. They would be an excellent addition to any dining room or living room, offering a touch of classic French elegance and modern comfort.
