A real gem (it's the first time I've found a piece of furniture like this), this extremely rare Petinuge desk is for storing jewelry and documents. It is entirely inlaid with noble woods (rosewood, violet wood, etc.). The writing surface slides backward (only when the drawer lock is open), and the drawer is pulled forward... The interior consists of two sliding shelves and a central one that lifts up containing a mirror on the inside. It is in perfect condition, perfectly functional. The finish is glossy swab finish with only shellac and pale oil. Origin: Parisian France 🇫🇷 Era and style: Era 1850/70, Napoleon III period. The style is Louis XV Measurements: Cm.
