Rare weekly dresser from the early Viennese Biedermeier period, practically intact and in original patina, veneered in flamed blond walnut. Vienna 1815-20 approx. There is an ingenious mechanical mechanism that ensures the closure of all drawers by closing the first one, which is equipped with an original lock; all other drawers can only be opened by slightly opening the first drawer in a particular position. Work in patina and in conditions of practical integrity also in the hardware, with shellac finish applied with a pad using museum standard technique. Cm.148 x 72 x40 deep. Magnificent work with a design that "beats time" with a sober and elegant line, also excellent for pairing with high-end modern pieces for a unique, exclusive and refined elegance.
