Arcile, furniture used to store flour. The upper part has a shape called "donkey back" or double-pitched, derived from Gothic ark burials. Common in the late 16th century, in the 17th century the bosses tend to round off at the apexes; they rarely have a drawer in the lower part. The most valuable specimens are generally embellished with brass studs: in this case there are many gilded bronze studs.
