Antique Sardinian ebonized sofa, sculpted and colored with armrests supported by large peacocks

Description: Interesting sofa (cm.154x52; h. cm.82) made in Sardinia around 1930 in solid ebonized chestnut, sculpted and colored. The back of the sofa is formed by 3 panels: in the central one (h. cm.82), finished with 5 different orders of carving, we find a pair of mirrored peacocks among flowers and small birds, colored in red, yellow and blue (photo n°2) while, in the side panels (h. cm.60), 3 rosettes per side of different sizes. The height to the seat, with a carved edge, is cm.46. It is in excellent condition.
