Description:
Beautiful "Canterano" chest of drawers with three drawers, made of walnut wood, burled and threaded.
The top of the piece of furniture can be opened and allows access to the first drawer which functions as a desk, whose front is a drop-leaf, and which contains eight other smaller drawers.
The canterano is built in poplar and is veneered in walnut and walnut burl, with lighter boxwood threads.
All the hardware, including handles and bushings, is original.
Restoration information:
Our laboratory guarantees the conservative restoration of each piece of furniture in respect of its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to guarantee solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are carried out:
- structural restoration
- careful anti-woodworm treatment
- cleaning and sanitization of the interiors
- external finishing with natural beeswax
- internal finishing with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
On request, we can agree on the desired degree of restoration and the customization of the internal arrangement (clothes rails, shelves, etc...).
