Neoclassical Roman console table, gilded in the typical pale gold leaf used in Rome in the 1700s. Carved wooden decorations with vegetal motifs, mask within two hippogriffs and heads of Roman emperors in the corners. Top veneered in antique yellow marble, bordered in antique green (restored in the early 1900s). The gilding is all original, with the classic yellow bole, typically Roman. Rome circa 1780.
