The lively scene takes place on a threshing floor outside a farmhouse. A man throws a rival to the ground and prepares to kill him with a sword; the armed arm is held back by a woman who grabs him. The assaulted man is dressed only in a shirt, evidently caught by surprise. Several characters all around try to flee, while various furnishings are overturned on the ground.
