Restoration chair, in walnut. Two front legs are curved and two rear legs are arched outwards, supporting an upholstered seat enclosed in a frame to define its profile. The seat narrows at the rear, forming a pleasant curve. The open backrest is formed by two uprights rising from the sides of the seat in an elegant design, joining the horizontal upper crossbar that connects them and in which there is a "grip" for moving the seat. In the central part, a vertical panel finishes the backrest. The decoration is concentrated in the central vertical part where the carving of palmettes and scrolls, skillfully executed, gives great elegance and style. The crossbar of the backrest is also completed with carving featuring the same subjects. This piece of furniture with refined elegance still reflects stylistic features of the previous Empire style. However, the carving takes the place of bronzes and gilding, making it more sober.
