Beautiful inlaid two-door wardrobe with a curved or "priest's hat" frame, 18th century, originating from the Piedmont region of Italy.
The wardrobe is entirely made of walnut, with boxwood inlays, typical of 18th-century Baroque furniture.
The wardrobe is in good condition; the restoration, as shown in the photos, is minimal. The locks and keys are in perfect working order. The only restoration work it has undergone over the years was the replacement of the back, probably due to wear.
Typical of Piedmontese wardrobes is that they are divided in half (convenient for transport and delivery into the house).
