Veneered in walnut wood, the chest of drawers is richly decorated with boxwood inlays, with elegant baroque motifs of ramages and leafy volutes of great scenic effect. On the front, the four drawers have, within frames created by the boxwood inlays, mirrored surfaces finished with poplar burl. Handles and keyhole escutcheons are in burnished bronze. The bands of the cabinet that intersperse the drawers are also in burl. The sides are decorated with walnut wood mirrors, boxwood inlays and burl. The chest of drawers rests on four feet with a shaped and moving line. Particularly rare and unusual is the movement of the front, concave in the center and convex towards the lateral extremities. The uprights, rounded and precious, are inlaid with geometric motifs. The top has a moving and shaped profile that creates sinuosity and movement. The rounded edge is lacquered in black. The decoration includes a double boxwood thread that creates a walnut veneered frame. Large fields in burl interspersed with walnut wood are delimited by boxwood inlays that create geometric elements and phytomorphic decorations. The different colors of the wood species create a chiaroscuro effect that gives the furniture particular elegance and great decorative effect. This chest of drawers, due to its executive refinement, compositional elegance and pleasant dimensions, can be easily placed in any room of your house, such as the bedroom, the study, the entrance and a living room.
