Splendid fragment of a late Gothic Cremonese ceiling painted on poplar wood. The upper panel depicts the punishment of a vainglorious woman (a harpy defecates on her head while she looks in the mirror, according to the iconography of Taddeo di Bartolo's Last Judgment at the Collegiate Church of San Gimignano). The lower panel is decorated with floral motifs. Cremona, first half of the 15th century. Dimensions 86*34*3.5
