Elegant chest of drawers with 3 large drawers plus a smaller top one, characterized by the arched or "crossbow" shape of the front. The furniture is finely veneered on the front, with alternations of burl that create geometric patterns framed by threading in various woods. The single-board top is beautiful, as are the plain and regular sides. Rounded drawer partitions with end grain wood. Original carved feet, as is every other part of the furniture. A simple but high-quality piece of furniture both in the woods used and in the carpentry. This is a typical piece of furniture from the central areas of the Veneto region, particularly the Vicenza area, made during the middle part of the 18th century. The furniture is in excellent condition, needing some cleaning and polishing work that we can do or agree with the customer.
