Important pair of late 18th-century column bedside tables of Sicilian origin, made of apricot wood, embellished with gilded wood mouldings using the silver and mixtion technique. The column body is made with applications of half-round strips to depict a fluted-like motif, equipped with double doors, one upper and one lower, separated by a gilded wood frame with a vegetal motif. They rest on an octagonal base and the upper part is completed by a circular white marble top. Interiors of the columns in fir and poplar wood, original locks as well as the keys.
