Pair of marble angels - Genoa, 17th century.
Splendid pair of white marble angels.
They display the typical characteristics of Baroque art, such as a sense of movement and emotional expression.
The cherubic angels are depicted with flowing draperies, soft and rounded forms, conveying a sense of grace and divine innocence.
Their poses suggest that they may have originally been part of a larger architectural or religious ensemble, perhaps adorning a sculpture or an altar.
They have missing parts, visible in the photos, but this does not diminish their beauty.
To display them, we have created an iron base with double-height rods (not included in the price).
