Saint Michael the Archangel defeats Satan, inspired by Raphael's Saint Michael from the Louvre. Valuable oil on canvas inspired by the work of the great Renaissance master and his style. Skilled painter, presumably from the end of the 18th century or the first half of the 19th century, who reproduced the famous scene in a scenario with soft colors of neoclassical taste, with a personal interpretation of the background landscape. Oil on canvas, relined, restored in small points in the periphery of the work. Measurements 69x51. Provenance, private collection - legacy of the Udine bourgeoisie.
