A pair of elegant, intact chairs from the early Biedermeier period, veneered in ash feather. Vienna, circa 1820. Total height cm. 100, seat height cm 55/56, max. width cm. 42, max. depth 52, seat depth cm. 40. These are original works from the early Viennese Biedermeier period with a shellac finish applied with a museum-standard tampon technique in patina. The fabric of the upholstery (which has been restored for hygienic and aesthetic reasons) is elegant ivory-colored striped satin. With a sober and elegant line, they are also excellent for juxtaposition with modern furniture for a unique, exclusive, and refined elegance. The warm golden amber color of the antique patina of the flowering ash, with a true shellac tampon finish. In accordance with the New Code of Cultural Heritage Assets, the selling company provides, concurrently with the sale, a detailed photographic written guarantee of the originality and provenance of the works sold. The data with which the works are described and then contained in the written guarantees are express determinations resulting from accurate, in-depth, and documented technical/historical/artistic investigations.
