Refined and rare game table from the Viennese Neoclassical-Empire period. Vienna 1795-1810 approx. Veneered in mirrored flame mahogany, the table opens like a book, rotating on itself and revealing the game surface in refined leather. It is an object of real absolute wooden integrity with a shellac finish applied using a museum-standard technique on the original first patina. It measures cm. 82 high, 95 wide, 47.5 (95 open) deep.
