Elegant living room table from the early Biedermeier period, veneered in fine flowering ash burl, with ebonized details. Vienna circa 1820. Top diameter cm.118, height 77. The beauty and warmth of this veneer in its original patina, reminiscent of amber, creates an elegant and warm combination with modern design, adding warmth to the whole. The work is in practically intact condition with a shellac finish applied on the original patina using a standard museum technique.
