The piece is in its original patina, intact, with a shellac finish applied using a buffer technique to museum standards on the warm original patina. Original working lock. It is veneered in high-quality mahogany feather. Its excellent dimensions allow it to be used as a small, elegant writing desk. With the sober elegance typical of the Viennese Empire, one of the rarest and most sought-after styles in the world. Excellent for juxtaposition with high-end modern furniture. Dimensions: tabletop 65x46 cm, height 74 cm.
