Unusual and elegant work table / console "portafilati", from the classicism / very early phase of the Viennese Biedermeier period, finely veneered in blond walnut feather with maple threads and details in animal bone. Can be used as a centerpiece (walnut feather in the back). Finely veneered also on the inside. Original working lock. Restored and consolidated with shellac finish applied with a museum-standard pad on the first patina. Vienna 1800-1815. Measures cm. height 79 width 51, depth 43.
