Vienna 1820 approx. Rare work table from the early Viennese Biedermeier period in absolutely intact condition, from the circle of Joseph Danhauser.
Description:
Rare work table from the early Viennese Biedermeier period in absolutely intact condition, from the circle of Joseph Danhauser, veneered in walnut feather with brass inlaid details. Vienna 1820 approx., similar to model no. 17 (see original drawing below and in the miniature (drawing owned by the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna), with a slight variation in the leg ends, a probable evolution of the original design from 1815. It is an object of absolute integrity, with elegant legs with linear grooves, of surprising modernity. Masterfully French polished with museum-standard technique on its original patina. Dimensions: 75 cm height, 64 cm width, 47 cm depth. A piece of design that "wins time" with its sober and elegant line, also excellent for pairing with high-end modern pieces for a unique, exclusive, and refined elegance. With the warm golden amber color of the antique blond walnut patina finished with real French polish. In compliance with the New Code of Cultural Heritage, the selling company provides, simultaneously with the sale, a detailed written photographic guarantee of originality and provenance of the works sold. The data with which the works are described and then contained in the written guarantees are expressed determinations resulting from accurate and documented technical/historical/artistic investigations, even of expert appraisal relevance.
