Beautiful Empire style console veneered in mahogany feather, with solid columns, from the early 1800s of French origin. The console is completely original and DOES NOT REQUIRE RESTORATION (see photos). The polishing is done with shellac and finished with a "pad". The console top is in original "Black Belgium" marble with no breaks. The bronzes have only been degreased to maintain their original patina.
