Vienna 1820 - 25. Very rare "sofa table" or also as a writing table from the early Biedermeier period by Joseph Danhauser or close circle, Canapètisch No. 14 or also Schreibtisch No. 18 with a slight variation compared to the original design of 1820 (see miniature); it is veneered in blonde walnut feather with walnut burl details on a maple wood structure (a typical technique of the Danhauser furniture factory in Vienna). Measures approx. 142 x 73 height 83. Object in conditions of absolute integrity with museum-standard shellac finish.
