Rare Viennese Empire/early Biedermeier writing desk from around 1800-1815, with elegant tapered legs. It is veneered in blond walnut feather, with ebonized details on the sides of the top and at the end of the supports. Of refined and sober elegance, as is customary for furniture from the Viennese neoclassical and restoration period. A piece that integrates perfectly into high-level modern decor, which is often inspired by these original lines. It is an object of absolute integrity and with the first warm "golden" patina, enhanced by the masterful French polishing with shellac using a museum-standard technique. It measures cm. height 79, width 96, depth 63.
