The Madonna della Ghiara is depicted in the center; Saint John the Baptist and Saint John the Evangelist are on the sides.
The artifact has stylistic similarities with the works of Marco Mazelli, a scagliola artist born in Carpi in 1640, a student of Gasparo Griffoni together with Ludovico and Giovanni Leoni.
