The bust depicts a noble woman, richly dressed. Certainly a portrait, as can be seen from the great physiognomic typification of the face; the depicted woman has an austere look and attitude, an element that distinguished the sculptural portraits of the time. The hair is gathered at the nape of the neck in an elaborate braided hairstyle. The neck is adorned with a choker with a central medallion and several strands of pearls. She wears a dress that leaves her shoulders bare, finished with a thin lace border and a bow in the middle of the chest. Great skill of the sculptor in the use of the chisel for the finishing of details and in the material rendering of the fabrics.
