The gilded bronze mantel clock features a base decorated on the front with phytomorphic foliage motifs and a central floral element, and is supported by elaborate spinning top feet that enhance its shape. A large plinth rests on the base, housing the dial, with the figure of a young man leaning against the plinth on the side. The clock face, with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, bears the inscriptions "Lu. Lacroix H.er." at the top and "De S. A. I. Lu Prince Camille, A Turin" below. Underneath the dial, in gilded and chased bronze, is a panoply with a basket overflowing with fruit and vegetables, above which a shovel and a lituus are crossed, from which two rich vegetable garlands hang; on the side, a female mask within a crown made of two cornucopias and laurel branches. To the left of the plinth, a young man is depicted wearing a short tunic and holding a long shovel in his hands, in a relaxed pose and leaning his left arm on the structure of the clock, on which a bagpipe rests. The mechanism is original. the wind. The quartered tops, always in striped walnut, have an almond-shaped reserve in the center with floral decorations that are branched internally from two fans and a central rosette. The feet are truncated pyramid-shaped.
