Description:
Two fantastic figures (h. 23 cm and 20 cm) created by the Coroneo sisters, Giuseppina (Cagliari 1896/1978) and Albina (Cagliari 1898/1994), famous Cagliari artists of the mid-20th century with their favorite materials such as fabric, wood, papier-mâché, metal wire and terracotta. The two figures are placed inside an oak display case (45x15 cm; h. 25 cm) designed and created by the well-known architect Ubaldo Badas, a great friend and supporter of the artists. They didn't sell these works to just anyone: the two artists parted with them with difficulty, only after being convinced that whoever requested them was capable of respect, sensitivity and humanity.
