Unusual botanical box (cm.31x12; 7.5), also called Vasculum, made of color lithographed tinplate in Germany between the late 1800s and early 1900s: they were once used by students to transport plant samples without damaging them, keeping them in a fresh environment. The door (cm.20x10) has a working hinge. It has a leather strap to be carried on the shoulder. Decorated with floral elements with a landscape in the center.
